We are excited to announce the launch of Great River Learning Centers, a unique school of learning dedicated to transforming the lives of children with reading disabilities and dyslexia through evidenced-based instruction and student/parent support services. With an estimated one in five people experiencing dyslexia, we understand the immediate need for specialized learning centers to provide additional instruction to students after school and during school breaks.  Each day, there are students in schools throughout this country who struggle daily to understand what their classmates absorb effortlessly. We at Great Rivers Learning Centers are committed to changing this narrative, and to eliminate the stigma and social/emotional implications associated with learning difficulties.

Our journey began with a profound realization that every child has a right to a positive learning environment that supports their individual educational and social/emotional needs with evidence-based practices. We employ a diverse team of caring professionals, experienced in evidenced-based teaching methods aligned with the Science of Reading. This type of instruction is essential to the success of students with reading disabilities and dyslexia. As parents, educators, student advocates, and members of the community, we believe deeply in the power of education to transform lives.

In addition to offering evidence-based reading instruction, Great River Learning Centers offers professional special education support services. While we believe parents/guardians are the best advocates for their children, we recognize parents/guardians need support while navigating the special education process. Our mission is to provide education surrounding IDEA to parents/guardians and to provide professional advocacy services for students.  Although students with disabilities have a right to a Free and Appropriate Public Education, many students with disabilities only receive an education that allows minimum student progress. Students with disabilities have a right to an education with high levels of rigor and expectations like their non-disabled peers receive.  Our highly trained team members are committed to support services that support schools to provide educational, social/emotional, and behavioral services to ensure a successful outcome for our clients.
